Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s (ERAU) Airport Security reviews the historical development of airport and aviation security, as well as threats and security issues raised by those threats. Course content examines current security regulations and laws, including a discussion of their implementation in the form of a security plan. Students study physical security, crime prevention, cyber security issues, the roles of security personnel, response to emergencies and departmental cooperation at airports.
