What is a Graduate Certificate?

Graduate certificates are short, multi-course academic programs available at the post-baccalaureate level. They’re offered in specialized areas to help professionals and students gain new skills and knowledge and advance their careers. Many accredited colleges and universities offer graduate certificate programs. They are generally one year in length, consist of roughly 3-6 courses, and range from 9-21 credits of advanced coursework. Credits earned can often be applied to a more advanced degree in a related field. In fact, some students enroll in graduate certificate programs instead of graduate school as a way to check out different career options before choosing a school. Many of these programs are available online for students working full-time or for those who need a more flexible schedule.

The Graduate Certificate in Aviation course is designed for current and future Aviation Managers and has a condensed curriculum that concentrates on the practical application of core concepts studied in the MBA(Aviation) program.

How much does this course cost?

The discounted course fee is in Singapore dollars S$ 5,480. In Singapore, this course is for S$9,600, whereas the participants can enjoy a discounted price of S$5,480 — that is almost 57% of the original cost. Over and above this, an additional volume discount of 10% is available to groups of 4 (candidates) and above. That will make it 51% of the original cost of the program. Students can pay in three installments starting now, pay S$2,000, after one month pay S$2,000 and the last instalment S$1,480 after another month.

What is the duration of this course?

The entire course of aviation is designed to be completed in about eight months and two weeks, with two sessions of 2.5 hours each (pre & post lunch), scheduled every consecutive Saturday. There may be a couple of weeks gap due seasonal holiday in December.

Who is eligible for aviation course?

Anyone with a passion for aviation can apply. Basic English communication skills are mandatory. Minimum age is 17 years and there is no upper age limit. Aviation professionals and students studying aviation are preferred. Selection is based on all of the above criteria.

What happens if I miss a class or I am unable to attend (physically or virtually/online)?

All lessons are recorded. So for whatever reason, if a registered student cannot attend the class (due to other important commitment, sickness, or non-availability for any other reason), he/she can get the recorded lesson and watch the recorded video of the entire lesson of the day. Similarly, if a student wants to just revise the lesson or watch a portion of the lesson again he/she can conveniently do so. This is a great attribute of learning in a virtual blended learning environment that is not possible in a conventional mode of learning. The flexibility of timing and ability to repeat the learning session at a time of your choosing is a great attribute that makes this course more attractive and easy for all candidates.
