Our Flex On-Demand courses give students the freedom to learn anytime, anywhere, with guidance from teachers and personalized mentoring. Enrollment is open year-round, and without fixed live classes, learners move at a pace that suits them best. Each course includes pacing suggestions and allows up to six months for completion—without late penalties. This approach is ideal for motivated, independent learners who excel in a flexible, self-directed environment.

Online high school courses give you the flexibility to design your study routine instead of following a fixed school timetable. This flexibility allows you to:

  • Stay On Track Each 0.5-credit course typically requires 80–90 study hours, which aligns with a standard 16–18 week semester.

Example Course Plan:

Pathway to a High School Diploma

Students completing Grade 11 with Open Learner can seamlessly continue their senior year with Brigham Young University (BYU). Upon successful completion of Grade 12, they will be awarded an official BYU High School Diploma, recognized worldwide for university admissions.
